She held her breath and waited

  • Description

This is the first piece in a new series about slowing down and tuning in.

I’ve been thinking a lot about those moments when you’re not quite sure what comes next, but you show up anyway.

I used many tools to make it: old paint rollers stiff from dried paint, a rusty rasp, twig and ink. I love how these imperfect materials leave unexpected marks. Their unpredictability mirrors the quiet leaps of faith we take in life and reminds me that true beauty often comes from letting go of control.
