The Big Reveal: A Story of Visual Exploration and Community

Dear friends and fellow art enthusiasts,

It is with great excitement that I unveil my long-awaited website and first-ever blog, where I will share the latest iterations of my artistic journey. I will endeavor to refine and enrich this platform in the coming months.

First, a little bit about art: those acquainted with me know that I have a boundless passion for the visual arts. My best work is born without restraint and always grounded by a conscientious commitment to sustainability. I plan to highlight my latest creations on this site, all available for acquisition unless otherwise noted. For inquiries about specific pieces, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

So, how did this art thing happen?

I get this question a lot! I completed my studies at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. More recently, I studied at Stanford for a year under the guidance of Katie Hawkinson, where I learned how to better connect with my audience. On a whim, I signed up for what would become a life-changing experience through a workshop with Micheal Shemchuk at Jen Tough's AIR Studios in Santa Fe. Shem and my classmates transformed my artistic approach and welcomed me into a vibrant community of artists and life-long friends. Since then, my work has been exhibited at the Jen Tough Gallery in Santa Fe and the Woman Made Gallery in Chicago. Along the way, miraculously, my pieces found their way into homes in St. Helena, Chicago, and Newport Beach. I also immersed myself into the Bay Area art scene, proudly serving on the Board of Oakland Art Murmur, which supports artists throughout the East Bay art community.

Through my posts, you can expect to find notes and observations about my artistic process, updates on upcoming shows and exhibits I visit, sharing exciting work from other artists, and other sources of inspiration. I invite you to engage and connect. Your comments, suggestions, and contributions are welcomed and deeply valued.

Before you go, I also encourage you to take a moment to explore the outstanding artists and organizations I mentioned earlier. Together, let's celebrate the transformative power of art and the enduring bonds of community.

Please check out the work of these amazing artists from the workshop at Jen Tough AIR Studios:
